*Note: Course offerings are current as of the date of this letter, however due to the rapidly evolving method of course delivery in response to COVID-19, there may be some unanticipated changes to the current schedule. Please make sure to visit the SDSU Class Schedule website for the most up-to-date course offerings.
Students are strongly encouraged to complete all these prerequisites prior to the beginning of your fall enrollment at SDSU. The reason for this is two-fold: (1) the workload associated with starting the SLHS major upper division courses is high and it will be burdensome to attempt to add in additional courses on top of your already packed schedule, and (2) our SLHS major courses are only offered once per year (either fall or spring terms) and you must take them in lock-step sequence (as our courses build on one another). Thus, if you wish to complete the major in two years, you will not be able to stagger the major courses.

All undergraduates in CHHS, including transfer students, are required to complete an international experience.*
*Given the COVID pandemic, the travel component of the international requirement has been waived for all students graduating through August 2023. Students may choose a course from a list curated by CHHS. Please note: international travel is still possible to some locations for students who would still like to study abroad.
