Accent and Communication Training (ACT)

If you are a non-native speaker of English and would like to become a more effective communicator, the Accent Communication Training program will help you master the sounds and patterns of American English.

Participants in this program should have good overall skills in English but may have frequent difficulty expressing themselves clearly and naturally in English because of their accent.

Services are provided using one-on-one and small group instruction formats. The program meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00-6:00 p.m. in the fall and spring semesters.
