Biography
Dr. Carol Branch received her B.A. and M.A. in Audiology/Speech Pathology from San Diego State University and her Doctorate (AuD) in Audiology from A.T. Still University. She worked as a staff/senior audiologist and later as manager of the audiology department at the Speech, Hearing and Neurosensory Center of Children’s Hospital (now Rady Children’s) in San Diego. Her clinical specialty areas include both pediatrics and adults in both diagnostics and hearing aids. She also has experience and interest in aural rehabilitation for both pediatric and adult populations. Additionally, she is able to serve both Spanish and sign language speaking patients. Dr. Branch has provided clinical precepting to doctoral students in the SDSU Audiology Clinic for a number of years. In addition, Dr. Branch currently teaches several courses at SDSU as part of the SDSU/UCSD Joint AUD Doctoral Program including AUD 702 Clinical Methods Lab, AUD 721 Clinical staffing, AUD 802 Clinical Precepting, and AUD 891 Online Integrative Seminar.
