One-month Summer Internship

We are seeking applicants for the Sheila and Jeff Lipinsky Internship in ASL/Deaf Studies – a one-summer month internship in the Laboratory for Language and Cognitive Neuroscience at San Diego State University.

The goal of the internship is to increase opportunities for deaf undergraduate and graduate students to receive training and mentoring in a highly productive research laboratory, and to encourage recipients to pursue an academic research career. Students should develop a research question or project that he/she plans to work on during their internship (in consultation with their current advisor). The Laboratory for Language and Cognitive Neuroscience supplies a rich environment for students to learn from deaf and hearing researchers in the fields of psycholinguistics, neuroscience, reading research, and bilingualism. The internship includes monies for travel to San Diego and a living stipend.

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer any 2019 summer internships.
