The SDSU Speech-Language Pathology Program invites you to attend a public meeting with members of the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CAA) of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). The CAA is seeking public comments as part of its reaccreditation review of the master’s program in speech-language pathology. Individuals who wish to provide input may do so by attending the virtual public meeting and/or submitting written comments by February 17, 2021.

Location: Online via Zoom videoconferencing
To attend this virtual public meeting, please register online through the link above by February 25, 2021. This RSVP will ask for your full name, email address, cell phone number, and Zoom name (if different from full name). Zoom link information will be sent closer to the date of the meeting.
If you are unable to attend the public meeting, you are invited to submit written comments by February 17, 2021, which is no later than 15 days before the first day of the scheduled two-day site visit on March 4-5, 2021. Please note that all comments provided must relate to a program’s compliance with the published Standards for Accreditation of Graduate Education Programs in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (obtained online here) and must identify the specific program seeking reaccreditation with the CAA. All written testimony—including comments faxed or submitted as e-mail attachments—must include the commenter’s name, address and telephone contact information and the commenter’s relationship to the program in order for Accreditation staff to verify the source of the testimony.
