Imola MacPhee, a third-year international student from Toronto, Canada, in the joint doctoral program in audiology, recently received the International Student Scholarship awarded by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Foundation. She also was chosen to present her doctoral research poster at the March 2012 annual meeting of the American Academy of Audiology in Boston, MA. Imola will begin her year-four externship in June at Orange County Physicians Hearing Services in Mission Viejo, CA, and plans to graduate in May 2013. Congratulations, Imola!
The $5,000 scholarship is a competitive scholarship for international graduate students studying communication sciences and disorders in the United States who demonstrative outstanding academic achievement. The scholarship is funded by the Kala Singh Memorial Fund.
