Quynh Dam, MA, CCC-SLP
Quynh is a second year student in the Joint Doctoral Program in Language and Communicative Disorders at San Diego State University and University of California, San Diego. She worked as a bilingual (Vietnamese-English) Speech-Language Pathologist at a community health center before entering the doctoral program. Her research interest includes bilingual language development in typically developing children and children with speech and language impairments.

Megan Douglass
Megan is a junior studying Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences at San Diego State University. She is interested in working with bilingual children and adults with speech and language impairments.

Michelle Harrison
Michelle is a junior studying Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences at San Diego State University. She is interested in working with and furthering research regarding bilingual children. She is passionate about developing more bilingualism research in order to benefit the Asian Pacific Islander community overall in the United States.

Ping Lau is a junior majoring in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences at San Diego State University. She is an international student who was born and raised in Malaysia. Ping is passionate about helping and contributing to the bilingual community because she herself grew up bilingually. She hopes to use her career to help bilingual children and adults.

Linh Nguyen
Linh is an international graduate student at San Diego State University in the 4+1 year accounting program, specializing in taxation. She was born and raised in the central region of Vietnam. In the lab, Linh is able to apply her native language skills to research projects with Vietnamese-speaking children.

Lena is a junior majoring in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences, and minoring in Personality and Social Psychology at San Diego State University. Growing up in a Vietnamese-speaking household, she has ties to the culture and language, and is interested in studying Bilingualism in children.

Elise Ramirez
Elise is a first-year student pursing a degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences, and a degree in Spanish at San Diego State University. She learned Spanish from kindergarten until high school through a Spanish Immersion Program offered at her school. She is interested in working with children and bilingual individuals after she graduates.

Angelica is a senior studying Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences at San Diego State University. She is interested in working with children, and the Vietnamese-English and Spanish-English communities. She is also involved in research in Dr. Henrike Blumenfeld’s Bilingualism and Cognition Lab.
