Procedural Steps for Earning the Master's Degree

Step-by-step instructions and all required forms are provided by the Graduate Division and are available online here:

Submitting the Program of Study

Pay special attention to the "Submit an Official Program for the Master's Degree" section of the above instructions. You will need to submit your program of study during the Summer before your final year of coursework.

Fill out the M.A. SLP Tracking form (.doc, updated 5/08) with the help of your assigned advisor. You and your advisor will determine what 700-level electives and any program adjustments (e.g., transfer of graduate credit from another institution) are needed.

Meet with Dr. Jessica Barlow to officially submit the program of study electronically. Please email Dr. Barlow to set up an appointment to do this. Be sure to bring your Tracking Form to your appointment.
