Suspension of the American Sign Language / Deaf Studies Concentration

posted 8/25/09

Effective summer 2009, the School of Speech Language and Hearing Sciences is suspending enrollment in the ASL/Deaf Studies undergraduate track for an indefinite period of time.

Students who are seniors, in the track, must complete their ASL/DS courses by spring 2010. After the spring 2010 semester, these courses will not be offered. Juniors, sophomores, or freshmen in the track must contact Dr. Torre, the undergraduate advisor, for assistance in changing their track or major. No admission to the track is being approved at this time. Students with questions about the concentration should contact Dr. Torre.
